Encouraging Leaders

I want to encourage Leaders in ministry and business in this season!  Jehovah God is calling all of us to come close to Him for direction that the world cannot give.

God is calling (through the wooing of the Holy Spirit) those leaders who have not received Christ as their personal Savior to make a commitment of faith.  He’s also calling Christ- followers to recommit their lives and go deeper and wider in their faith.

If we are excited about our relationship with God through Christ, what we share will be contagious, because there will be an anointing on us.

Fresh Cool Water

Could you use a fresh drink of cool water?  God is always ready to refresh you and renew your spirit.  He has a way of knowing just what we need.  It is important that we open ourselves up to His presence and give Him permission to fill us up.

It is very simple, you know.  Keep practicing good communication skills by continuing to pray, read His Word, and enjoy fellowship with other strong Christians — those who know how to get a prayer through to the throne so that you see tangible results.

Contagious Leaders

Be God’s Representative

This is the time of year when people can be plagued with negative emotions — dragging them off toward depression.  The enemy of their souls would like nothing better than for them to be tearful and full of concentration on their losses. It’s a time to remember this scripture:

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (AMP) —Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

It's a new day!

It's a new day as America approaches another July 4th. As Americans, we are happy for the freedoms we have received.

We continue to see that freedoms as Christians are being chipped away.  So, we have a mandate to pray for God to help us keep our freedoms and to pray for God to reveal Himself to the leaders in this country.

We find ourselves continually attacked in the media.  But, the Kingdom of God is far bigger than the media, the culture, or America!  Our Savior, Lord, and King - The Lord Jesus Christ - has won the battle for us at the cross.

The Tide

Tidesare the rise and fall of sea levels.

In some places, the ocean is rather predictable. Some shore points offer a wide beach and predictable waves. Those points become hot spots for tourists, swimmers, and surfers.

This winter we traveled to Northern California. We were there with family for about 2 l/2 months. This shore point was different from all we had ever encountered.  (See "my bench" on the bluff, where I liked to spend time.)

There were many bluffs and cliffs.

Mercy

October 30, 2015
In case you haven’t noticed, in October I have been talking about taking your friends to the mountain of God.  That involves the gift of mercy.  Because none of us are perfect, we are asked to stay in an attitude of love toward others.  We have friends who have stood by us in the hard times, and we appreciate them.  When they have troubles, we need to be strong for them and lift them up before the Throne of Grace.  All of us should be interceding for our friends.

Rest and Wait on The Mountain

What does it mean to go up to the mountain of the Lord?  Well, have you ever had an encounter – a real encounter with the Lord?  I’m sure many of you have!  Some have not.  Will it take a more concentrated effort to meet with God?  Yes!  It will!

Perhaps you’ve had a fleeting moment when you had a divine thought that solved an immediate problem.  Or, maybe you had a feeling that God was watching you closely.  You know, God can communicate with us in so many ways – just the way you need Him to, and at just the right moment.

The High Places

Woke up one morning last week with the Ron Kenoly song in my spirit:  “Going Up to the High Places.”  The next line is “to tear the devil’s kingdom down.”

It really is the intercessor’s job to do battle in the heavenlies.  And, when we get together with others who know how to get a prayer through, the corporate dynamic comes into play.

How can that happen?

Unity by the Spirit of God is not a new thing, but it has been tragically impeded by those who are building their own kingdoms.

Transition

Last week, I was interviewed on international internet radio about my ministry and many, many subjects.  I thank God that He was with me and that Christopher Thomas of TheVoice17104.com is such an excellent host.  He has a way of drawing the best out and asking the right questions.  It’s always my desire to see souls saved and people encouraged in the Lord.  As I reminisce, it’s always a wonder of who in the world might hear this event.  This station is already reaching 93 countries.
